"There was no pressure, classes were on my time and schedule and stress free. The different from then and now and amazing, I can now go out to eat at regular restaurants instead of going through drive thru, going shopping at normal hours of the day instead of 3 am in the morning. I feel more comfortable shopping or in crowds knowing that Ali has my back., Ali and I go to church on Sundays and Wednesdays, I sleep better knowing that my dog is here listing to noises in the night. "Before Dorothy I could not leave home or do anything to seem like a normal person. Now I can go anywhere I want and feel safe! Due to the training I got with Barbara, Dorothy can go anywhere and have no issues at all!    Click here for whole story
"through a social worker at the V.A. and with Barbara’s help and the help of Paw’s 4 Soldiers my life has totally changed. Barbara and her many years of experience handling dogs have made a significant change in my life for which I will forever be grateful. She has taken a rescued Lab and turned him into the best trained friend that anyone could possibly have. He is my best friend"

"would like to extend my deepest thanks to Paws 4 Soldiers for connecting me with Chaos (my service dog). Since her and I have first met I felt things were going to be ok. I felt a sense of peace when I first paired up with Chaos. Going in to stores & businesses used to be a battle and most of the time I never went anywhere. Now that I have her by my side everywhere I go I feel that release of pressure and uncomfortable just go away when I see her paying attention to just me. I am more active in the community & more social towards people. You guys at Paws 4 Soldiers thank you for giving me my life back, Chaos and I will forever be grateful." Joey
"I want to thank Barbara and Robert for all their help in training "Boog" as a Service Dog! The training was very professional and enjoyable. The training enhanced "Boog's" capability and skills significantly, and has made me a better dog owner and handler. I got as much out of the program as my dog. Additionally, Paws 4 Soldiers is a great fraternity of veterans, who understand the tremendous value of a dog in dealing with disabilities. I highly recommend Paws 4 Soldiers to others who are in need of dog training and certification!"
"Some agencies have a very extensive waiting list to get a service K-9. The next day I was introduced to my service K-9! Though the training was time consuming, the benefits my service K-9 has given me was certainly worth it! My service K-9 has me going back out into the big wide world, and even out to restaurants from time to time."   Click here for the whole story

"Barbara, Robert, and the other Service Dog teams have quickly become like a second family. If it wasn’t for them, I don’t know where I’d be today. Even after getting laid off in November 2014, due to circumstances beyond my control, the team was there for me and kept me going. I have been truly blessed to have them in my life. I used to wake up dreading the day ahead. Now, I wake up knowing that no matter what happens, I have a support system, other than my family, that knows what I am going through".  Click here to read more

"Paws 4 Soldiers got this old, withdrawn disabled Veteran out of the house and back to living. Thanks, Paws 4 Soldiers, for the great job you do for the Veterans, all FREE.'"

"'If you think your life is not going the way you had thought it should having a trained service dog truly helps. Let me tell you having a faithful complete love of a dog trained to do whatever it takes to lift the veil that has covered your life worth more than any amount of money. I am better to a degree and all I see is positive future and having a life. WOW having a life; image that, I have gone from being a homebody to avoid people, to going to shopping centers, restaurants, movies and other places that before my dog just would not of happened."   Click here to read more

"When I have my mind splitting nightmares, Riley quietly comes to the side of my bed and nudges my hand, licks my face and does not stop until she is acknowledge by me. I only wanted a service dog to help with my medical conditions, assist me with balance and keep the unwanted from getting close. What I got was so much more."

"Once I started training, I was determined to get him certified because I didn’t want to leave his side and he did not want to leave mine. As the training progressed, I started meeting fellow Veterans who were also training as service dog teams. It was almost exactly like the brotherhood I had when I was in the service. I has also started to notice I was beginning to function on a more normal level as the training progressed. I started going out during the day, going places and attempting to go shopping. Just being out with Tarzan made it possible. We both enjoy fishing and just being in the company of each other'"

" I started training immediately. Training made me leave my house and go out in public. Shortly after starting, I began leaving my house for no reason. I started shopping during the day and in crowds. I’m not saying my life buddy “Simba” is the cure all, but he is a miracle. I still have anxiety in crowds but I’m not as afraid when he is there. I still have road rage, but he distracts me and calms me down. When I have nightmares, He wakes me up. Simba accepts me for who I am. He doesn’t judge me and he is always happy to see me."  Click here to read more

".PAWS 4 SOILDERS CHANGED MY LIFE. I SUFFERED A TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY THAT HAS LEFT ME EPILETIC, WITH VISION PROBLEMS AND PTSD. BARBARA IS A GREAT TRAINER AND FOUND ME A BEAUTIFUL BOXER NAMED PAISLEY. SHE HAS OPENED UP MY LIFE AGAIN. NOW I AM MORE CONFIDENT TO GO OUT INTO PUBLIC, KNOWING THE DOG IS TRAINED TO HELP EMOTIONAL NEEDS/CRISIS THAT COME UP. SHE ALSO HELPS ME NOT WALK INTO THING AND KEEPS AN EYE OUT FOR ME. BOTH FOR THINGS THAT MIGHT UPSET ME AND FOR THINGS THAT I COULD RUN INTO. SHE IS ALSO GREAT FOR GIVING ME A HEADS UP BEFORE I HAVE A SEIZURE. I WAS A LITTLE WIERY OF GETTING A DOG BUT NOW DON’T KNOW HOW I EVER LIVED WITHOUT HER. I TAKE HER EVERYWHERE. SHE IS MY ANCHOR IN LIFE. I WOULD RECOMMEND PAWS 4 SOILDERS TO ANYONE. THE COMPANY IS LIKE FAMILY. FROM THE TRAINING TO THE EVENTS AND GET TOGETHERS. IT IS JUST A WONDERFUL THING TO BE ABLE TO SPEND TIME WITH OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE SIMALER EXPERENCES. ALSO ANY ISSUES THAT HAVE COME UP DURING OR AFTER TRAINING WAS COMEPLETED HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED ON THE SPOT OR AT SOONEST POSSIBLE TIME. I LOVE THIS COMPANY, ITS EMPLOYEES, AND MY FELLOW SOLIDERS HERE. WITHOUT THEM MY LIFE WOULD BE MUCH DIFFERENT IN A WORSE WAY. "

"Everyone at Paws 4 Soldiers has become like a family to me. They helped me get my life back. They didn’t just help train my dog; they help me whenever I was feeling anxiety or panicked. They cared about me when others wouldn’t and I could never thank them enough for what they have done for me. I still don’t know why or what causes my anxiety, but it doesn’t matter with Diesel by my side& my new Paws 4 Soldiers family I feel like I could take on the world.
Thank you for everything Paws 4 Soldiers!!"

"Without having the training from P4S I would literally be a hermit crab who would never go out and would have everything delivered to my house. With the help of P4S, Queen Lilly gives me the assurance I need when going in to society,( stress over loads, blocking people from coming up from behind me, helping me with balancing, going up and down stairs) which means me going to the grocery stores or just out for a walk in the park. ."
" Paws 4 Soldiers got me to interact with society again taking baby steps, first with training, then with events, and the biggest step of being out in public with my service dog Duke. I can't go anywhere without people approaching me to talk to me about my dog.  Click here to read more

"They are true family and life savers who know exactly what's going on in our lives. It took me 2 months just to be able to call them the first time. My PTSD has turned me into a recluse, thinking about things one shouldn't.  I'm still pretty much a recluse, but I have a wonderful friend in a little girl named Onyx. she knows me better than I know myself. I also know that Bee and Robert is there for me if ever I need them. They have treated me like I am a part of their family. I love them very much. Thank you Paws 4 Soldiers for all the help and support you have given me. God Bless you!"

"My life today is easier because I have Roscoe and I have B and Robert of Paws 4 Soldiers to thank. Without their help, encouragement and constant coaching, I would still be home. Today, we hike together, take walks in the park and I know he has my back. If you’re thinking of doing this and want to work with the very best trainer out there, this is it. I didn’t know it then but I am so fortunate that no one else returned my call. B and Robert, there are not enough words and ways for me to thank you for all that you’ve done for us."  Click here to read more

"Now that I have Smoky I feel safe to walk around stores and not worry. For example, if I get a dizzy spells she helps me through it by bracing me until I am okay to keep going again. She gives me the strength and motivation to go out and actually enjoy my life without the fears I had before. My life with Smoky is so wonderful. I am truly blessed to have her and so thankful for Paws 4 Soldiers for giving m the opportunity to have a real life again. I honestly can't imagine my life without Paws 4 Soldiers or the person I would be today without them. I'm so proud to be a part of this organization and am honored to call you all my family!"
" Before I started the program I didn't leave the house expect to go to work. I didn't like going into public places and would avoid them at all costs. Since becoming a certified team it's given me courage to go out in public again, I can take my daughter to the park and I can go to the grocery store by myself. The program and having Loki has completely change my life and the life of my family. Loki is my best friend and helps me in so many ways."

"  I was getting more upset on meeting with the mental health doctors, who thought that increasing my medication would help me. Instead it would have me shelter myself in a more isolated state, not being able to deal with crowds or do "normal" task such as going to stores shopping, get together at large family outings and controlling my short temper.        Click here for whole story
